Job Description / Responsibility
- Must be able to maintain company accounts, cash and bank transactions, receipt and payment statement, cash and fund flow statement, stock record, trial balance, Profit and Loss account, Tax and VAT management etc.
- Maintain & preparing all kind of vouchers, cash book, bank book, bill register, general ledger & different registers related to finance & accounts.
- Preparing, Maintaining & Entering bank related transactions.
- Preparing Reconciliation Statements related to finance & accounts.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents.
- Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
- Interact with Internal & External Auditors.
- Perform any other task given by the Management.
- Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports as per the international standard while adhering to the group policies
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts
- Develop financial strategies, financial planning & management, Budget & budgetary control policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and updating financial policies & procedures, ensure proper implementation & functioning of those and overall management of Accounts and Finance Department.
- Direct and control accounts staff ensuring they are appropriately motivated to carry out their responsibilities up to the required standard.
Educational Requirements
- M.Com/ MBA in Finance & Accounts with CA (CC)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
- Skills on M.S Word, Excel, and Integrated Accounting package – Tally, Accpac or Others.
- Play crucial role in organizational development, strategic planning, proposal development and fund raising.
- Strong team player with a positive, proactive approach, Strong negotiator & decision maker.
- Developing different financial process.
- Should have experience in Income Tax, VAT, Export, Import.
- Should have proven track record of supervisory skills.
- Must have a sound knowledge of commercial activities within garments industry.
- Must have sound banking knowledge
- Must have a sound knowledge about Back to back LC, Bill discounting, PC, DFC and other commercial items.
- Must be very strong in terms of reporting
- Experience with 3-4 years in the managerial position in a large group of company.
